Zuckerberg Confirms FBI’s Anti-Conservative Bias, Rep. Gaetz Is Ready To Investigate And Expose It

U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz is building a case that the FBI has become little more than a tool of the Democratic Party.

And Mark Zuckerberg helped explain why.

Appearing on Joe Rogan’s podcast on Thursday, the Facebook founder and CEO threw the FBI under the political bus. He told Rogan that Facebook hid the New York Post’s pre-2020 election story about Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop at the behest of the FBI, according to Breitbart News.

“The FBI, I think basically came to us — some folks on our team and was like, ‘Hey, um, just so you know, like, you should be on high alert,” Zuckerberg recalled. “There was the — we thought that there was a lot of Russian propaganda in the 2016 election. We have it on notice that basically there’s about to be some kind of dump of — that’s similar to that. So just be vigilant.’”

Not long afterward, the Post’s story appeared.

“We just kind of thought, Hey look, if the FBI, which, you know, I still view as a legitimate institution in this country, it’s a very professional law enforcement,” Zuckerberg also told Rogan, Breitbart noted. “They come to us and tell us that we need to be on guard about something. Then I wanna take that seriously.”

The billionaire added that while the FBI did not specifically mention the Post’s story as “Russian propaganda” at issue, the report “basically fit the pattern.”

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Gaetz told One America News Network that at least 14 FBI whistleblowers have approached Republican lawmakers about exposing the agency’s bias and political corruption.

“We have been receiving an unprecedented number of whistleblower complaints for a party in the minority,” the Fort Walton Beach Republican said.

OANN added that Gaetz sees the FBI raid on Trump’s Palm Beach home as a “new escalation” of the left’s political animus.

“This is the kind of stuff you see in Third World countries. And it’s hard for me to disconnect what I see with my eyes in the Mar-a-Lago raid from the way in which these whistleblowers have detailed the manifestation of bias,” said Gaetz, a member of the House Judiciary Committee.

He said bias appears in two ways.

First, the FBI never fails to leak information that could “trash Trump” or those close to him, said Gaetz. On the other hand, the FBI also works to “degrade” intelligence or reports that cast President Joe Biden in a negative light.

Gaetz added that if the Republicans retake Congress in November that will mean an “open door” to others within the bureau to come forward and help an investigation into FBI operations.
