POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A Zephyrhills woman, Kaelyn Mariah Alexander, was arrested on July 26th after attempting to use a fraudulent check to purchase plants from a couple in Polk County.
The couple reported the incident to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO).
When confronted by a deputy, Alexander attempted to flee but was unsuccessful.

Further investigation revealed that Alexander possessed a glass bong containing methamphetamine, as well as various personal documents, credit cards, and identification cards belonging to other individuals, including a deceased person.
Detectives contacted the owners of the personal information, who confirmed they did not know Alexander or give her permission to use their information.
Alexander now faces multiple charges, including grand theft, forgery, identity theft, fraud, and drug possession.
