ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – A 28-year-old Zephyrhills man was struck and killed by a vehicle while he was lying on a dark road. Florida Highway Patrol is seeking tips.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, an unknown type of vehicle was traveling southbound on Green Slope Drive, north of Oak Run Circle, and collided with a 28-year-old Zephyrhills man who was lying in the dark roadway for an unknown reason.

The man suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
Troopers say the driver fled the scene following the collision.
