PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A 75-year-old Zephyrhills man was killed in a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of US-301 and Kossick Road on Saturday at approximately 2:30 PM.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a Ford Ranger, driven by the Zephyrhills man, was traveling southbound on US-301 and attempted to turn left onto Kossick Road. The Ranger turned into the path of a southbound Audi A3, driven by a 26-year-old Tarpon Springs man, resulting in a collision.

The impact sent the Audi A3 careening into a Toyota Camry, driven by a 60-year-old Plant City woman, which was stopped at a red light on Kossick Road.
The driver of the Ford Ranger was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of the Audi A3 and the Toyota Camry both sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to local hospitals.
Two passengers were in the Toyota Camry. One passenger escaped injury, while the other suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was also taken to a hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
