Zephyrhills Man Killed In Fiery SR-56 Motorcycle Crash On Easter

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A Zephyrhills man was killed in a fiery crash that happened around 5:35 pm on Sunday.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a Suzuki motorcycle was traveling westbound on State Road 56 at a high rate of speed. 

Troopers say a Ford pickup truck turned left onto SR-56 at the intersection of Oxbow Road and SR-56 and was struck by the motorcycle.

The motorcycle became engulfed in flames, and the rider, a 33-year-old Zephyrhills man, suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash. 

The driver of the pickup truck, a 46-year-old man, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
