PASCO COUNTY, FL. – On Sunday evening, just after 8:30 am, a crash claimed the life of a 43-year-old Zephyrhills man.
Troopers say, a car, driven by an 87-year-old Hudson man, was traveling northbound on US-19, approaching Bolton Avenue, in the left turn lane.
A motorcycle, driven by the Zephyrhills man, with a 14-year-old passenger riding with him, was traveling
southbound on US-19 in the inside lane. Troopers say the 87-year-old man made a U-Turn into the path of the motorcycle, colliding with the bike.
Both riders were ejected from the motorcycle upon impact.
The Zephyrhills man suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash, and the 14-year-old girl suffered serious injuries in the collision.
