ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – A 40-year-old Zephyrhills man riding a bicycle was seriously injured after being struck by a pickup truck on Chancey Road on Monday morning at 10:02 am.
The accident occurred just west of Zephyr Preserve Place. The bicyclist was traveling westbound in the eastbound lane of Chancey Road when he was hit by an eastbound Chevy Silverado driven by a 29-year-old Zephyrhills man.

The driver of the pickup truck was unhurt, but the bicyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
