ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a suspect who robbed a Zephyrhills business at gunpoint on Wednesday evening.

The incident occurred around 8:10 PM on January 2nd at a business located in the 34000 block of State Road 54. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the suspect entered the business, held a person at gunpoint, and demanded money from the register. After receiving the cash, he fled on foot, heading eastbound on SR 54.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a heavy accent. He was wearing a black face mask, light green sunglasses, a black jacket, black jeans, brown work boots, and black gloves. He was carrying a silver handgun.  

Surveillance footage revealed that the suspect had been hiding behind the business for over two hours before the robbery, between 6:20 PM and 8:10 PM.
