INVERNESS, Fla. – Motorists in Inverness should be aware that the west end of Zephyr Street, including its connection to US 41, is now closed for approximately two weeks.
The closure, which began today, is necessary for crews to install drainage pipes and complete construction on US 41.

The road is expected to reopen by Friday, August 9, 2024, weather permitting.
Detour Information:
A detour route is in place to help drivers navigate around the closure. The detour utilizes Zephyr Street, Ella Avenue, Dampier Street, and US 41 (see attached map for details). Drivers are advised to plan for a few extra minutes of travel time due to the detour.
