HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – In a shocking incident at Tampa General Hospital-Brooksville, a woman fleeing the hospital stole a vehicle and ran over an elderly man twice, leaving him with critical injuries.
On October 12th, Lisa Nicosia, who had been brought to the hospital under the Marchman Act, escaped from the emergency department.
She then forcefully removed a 70-year-old man from his vehicle in the parking lot. As the victim tried to stop her, Nicosia drove off, causing him to fall and become trapped under the rear wheel. She then intentionally ran him over a second time, ignoring pleas from nurses who witnessed the horrific scene.
