LAKELAND, Fla. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a woman who picked up a lost wallet in the parking lot of a Lakeland Dollar Tree and failed to report it.
On February 16th, at approximately 7:35 PM, a man unknowingly dropped his wallet while walking across the parking lot of the Dollar Tree located at 6848 South Florida Avenue.
About eight minutes later, a woman arrived in a 4-door pickup truck, spotted the wallet, picked it up, and returned to her vehicle. She then entered the store but did not report the found wallet to store personnel.

A PCSO detective is now seeking to identify the woman to discuss the incident.
