CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. – A pickup truck crashed and caught fire on Sunday, claiming the life of the female driver.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the pickup was traveling on East Bushnell Road at Daniels Road when it departed the roadway for unknown reasons.
Once on the shoulder, the pickup collided with a tree and caught fire.
The driver suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash. Troopers, on Sunday, said that the woman was yet to have been identified. We will update this story when more details are released.
