ORLANDO, Fla. – A Wisconsin man was found dead early Wednesday morning at Disney World’s Contemporary Resort near the Magic Kingdom theme park in Florida, according to deputies.
The victim, identified as Jeffery Vanden Boom, 39, died from blunt force trauma after falling from a hotel balcony on Wednesday morning, according to the Orange County Medical Examiner
Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call at 5:33 a.m. on July 26 that said a man had been found unresponsive on hotel grounds, police said, and Vanden Boom was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Reddit, a user reported that someone had died at the hotel on Wednesday morning after being told not to go on the balconies.
“I’m pretty sure someone just died at our hotel. We got a call at 7:30 someone had a medical emergency and not to go on the balconies and then they had people redirecting us,” said the user on Reddit.
Boom’s death has been ruled as an accidental fall from the balcony of his hotel room.
