ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Preston Legge from Winter Park is celebrating a $1 million win from the Florida Lottery’s “$1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR” Scratch-Off game. He claimed his prize at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee, opting for a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.
The lucky ticket was purchased at the Walmart on 902 Lee Road in Orlando, earning the retailer a $2,000 bonus commission.

The “$1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR” is a $50 Scratch-Off game with two top prizes of $1 million annually for life and 234 prizes of $1 million. Overall odds of winning are 1-in-4.50.
Scratch-off games play a major role in the Florida Lottery, making up about 72% of ticket sales.
