The program’s goals are to enhance responsible citizenship, provide positive interaction with police officers and firefighters while educating young people about the challenges and responsibility of public safety, and encourage young people to take part in other youth programs offered by Winter Haven Public Safety, such as Police and Fire Explorers.
Once the application is received, a recommendation from either the school principal or the School Resource Officer will be requested.
A Leadership Council shirt and lunch is provided at no cost.
