Winter Haven Police Searching For Murder Suspect After Woman Stabbed Multiple Times

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – The Winter Haven Police Department is urgently seeking information from the public regarding the fatal stabbing of a 26-year-old woman late Friday night.

The incident occurred shortly before midnight on July 26, 2024, in the construction area behind the former Banyon Beach motel on 1630 6th St NW (Hwy 17).

A witness reported seeing an unidentified male arguing with the victim before striking her multiple times. The victim cried out that she had been stabbed and the suspect fled on foot southbound.

Emergency services arrived swiftly and attempted life-saving measures, but the victim tragically succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.
