WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – A Winter Haven man with a string of drug-related charges in Pinellas County found himself in more trouble after being involved in a car accident in Polk County.
38-year-old Joshua Poe was arrested on Friday, January 17th, following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Spirit Lake Road and Sheffield Road, south of Winter Haven.
When a Polk County Sheriff’s deputy arrived at the scene, they discovered that Poe had eight outstanding warrants from Pinellas County.

The warrants were for a variety of drug offenses, including:
- Possession of Cocaine
- Sale of Cocaine
- Possession of Methamphetamine (multiple counts)
- Sale of Methamphetamine (multiple counts)
- Possession of Fentanyl
- Sale of Fentanyl
Poe was arrested at the scene and taken to the Polk County Jail. He is expected to be transferred to Pinellas County to face the charges against him.
