WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – A 30-year-old Winter Haven man tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle accident on South Lake Howard Drive.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving a Ford F150 northbound at around 12:10 am on Monday when he failed to navigate a curve near Bates Avenue Southwest.

The vehicle veered off the road, collided with a utility pole, and overturned. The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
