POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A Winter Haven couple was arrested late Thursday night for retail theft and related charges following an incident at a Dollar General store.
On Thursday, January 31st, at approximately 2:35 p.m., 28-year-old Stefan De’Shon Fields and 36-year-old Loreal Durham were suspected of stealing merchandise from the Dollar General store at 2871 Rifle Range Road in Winter Haven. They fled the scene in a 2012 Dodge Avenger SE.

Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies located and arrested the pair around 11:30 p.m. that same night at the 7-Eleven store at 4000 Recker Highway in Auburndale.
Fields was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Retail Theft, Felony Petit Theft, and Driving While License Suspended/Revoked. He has four prior theft convictions.

Durham was charged with Felony Petit Theft, Providing False Information to a Law Enforcement Officer, and Failure to Appear (No Valid Driver’s License). She has five previous theft convictions.
