WIMAUMA, Fla. – James Falzone, 55, Wimauma, was charged Wednesday with receipt of child sex abuse material and possession of child sex abuse material.
Falzone faces a minimum mandatory penalty of 5 years, up to 40 years, in federal prison if convicted on all counts.
According to the indictment, on October 18, 2022, Falzone received a visual depiction of a minor being sexually abused. Additionally, Falzone possessed material that depicted young children being sexually abused.

An indictment is merely a formal charge that a defendant has committed one or more violations of federal criminal law, and every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until, proven guilty.
Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) looked into this case. Ross Roberts and Abigail K. King, two Assistant United States Attorneys, will prosecute it.
