White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt delivered a fiery rebuke to the media and the judiciary on Wednesday, accusing liberal judges of abusing their power to block President Donald Trump’s executive authority and creating what she called a “real constitutional crisis.”

Leavitt’s remarks came during a press briefing where she pushed back against claims that the Trump administration is facing a constitutional crisis, arguing instead that the true threat to the rule of law lies within the judicial branch.

“Media outlets have been fear-mongering the American people into believing there is a constitutional crisis taking place here at the White House,” Leavitt said. “I’ve been hearing those words a lot lately, but in fact, the real constitutional crisis is taking place within our judicial branch, where district court judges in liberal districts across the country are abusing their power to unilaterally block President Trump’s basic executive authority.”

Leavitt accused these judges of acting as “judicial activists rather than honest arbiters of the law,” citing at least 12 injunctions issued against the administration in the past 14 days. She claimed that many of these rulings were made without sufficient evidence or legal grounds, calling them part of a “larger concerted effort by Democrat activists.”

“This is nothing more than the continuation of the weaponization of justice against President Trump,” Leavitt asserted.

The press secretary emphasized that President Trump’s policies reflect the will of the American people, noting that 77 million voters elected him to office. She argued that each injunction represents an attempt to undermine democracy and thwart the administration’s agenda.

“To these liberal judges who are supporting their obstructionist efforts, 77 million Americans voted to elect this president,” Leavitt said. “Each injunction is an abuse of the rule of law and an attempt to thwart the will of the people.”

Leavitt reiterated the administration’s commitment to following the law while pursuing every legal avenue to challenge what she described as “radical injunctions.”

“As the president clearly stated in the Oval Office yesterday, we will comply with the law in the courts, but we will also continue to seek every legal remedy to ultimately overturn these radical injunctions and ensure President Trump’s policies can be enacted,” she said.

The Trump administration has frequently clashed with the judiciary since taking office, with multiple courts blocking key policies on immigration, environmental regulations, and healthcare.

Leavitt’s comments reflect the administration’s growing frustration with what it sees as judicial overreach and partisan obstruction.
