POLK COUNTY, FL. – A box tuck traveling westbound on I-4 near mile marker 57 Tuesday morning, lost control of the truck at approximately 4:48 a.m.
The truck then struck a Jeep SUV that was abandoned on the shoulder of I-4 and continued into the wooded area off of the freeway and striking trees.
Portions of westbound 1-4 were closed for nearly an hour Tuesday, while crews worked to remove both vehicles.
