PINELLAS PARK, Fla. – Beginning Monday, February 19, and Tuesday, February 20, the westbound exit ramps from Gandy Boulevard to US 19 in Pinellas County will close nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting.
During this closure, westbound Gandy Boulevard motorists needing to access US-19 will continue west on Gandy Boulevard, make a U-turn at the next traffic signal (43rd Street North), and continue east towards US-19.

Advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will assist motorists traveling through the area. Motorists should expect delays and congestion during this detour.
This closure is necessary for crews to perform paving operations as part of the SR 694 (Gandy Boulevard) repaving project from west of US 19 to Grand Avenue in Pinellas County. Construction activities are expected to finish in the summer of 2024.
