MIAMI, Fla. – Two West Palm Beach men have admitted their guilt in a shooting that occurred at the Palm Beach Gardens Mall on Valentine’s Day. Both men were charged with being felons in possession of firearms.
Kamarcio Mitchell, 29, pleaded guilty to firearm and ammunition possession, as well as possession with intent to distribute fentanyl. Devon Jamal Graham, 29, entered guilty pleas for firearm and ammunition possession, possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and cocaine, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.

The incident unfolded when Mitchell, carrying a firearm, followed Graham onto an escalator at the mall. Graham then shot Mitchell, who fled, leaving a trail of blood and a disassembled firearm.
Mitchell was later found in possession of fentanyl and arrested. Two firearms and drugs were recovered from Graham’s vehicle.

Mitchell and Graham are facing significant prison sentences, with minimums of 15 and 5 years respectively, and maximums of life in prison. Their sentencing hearings are scheduled for November and October.
