WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. – The Pasco Sheriff’s Office has announced that the suspect in Sunday evening’s fatal shooting in Wesley Chapel is now in custody.

The shooting occurred around 7:20 p.m. in the area of Old Pasco Road and Dayflower Boulevard. Deputies arrived to find an adult male victim deceased at the scene.

Preliminary information indicated that the victim was shot by another adult male, who fled on foot before law enforcement arrived.

The investigation is ongoing, and the identity of the suspect and victim have not yet been released.
