Family members told investigators that Bolduc had a history of drug use and that they had discovered text messages between him and his neighbor, Brian Palmer, discussing drug transactions.
The Medical Examiner’s Office determined that Bolduc’s death was caused by combined drug toxicity from methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl.
Detectives interviewed Palmer in May, who initially denied providing Bolduc with cocaine but later confessed to supplying the drugs that led to his death.
On December 23rd, a grand jury indicted Palmer on a charge of death caused by unlawful distribution of cocaine. He was taken into custody at his residence without incident.

During the arrest, detectives found cocaine and drug paraphernalia in Palmer’s bedroom. A subsequent search warrant led to the discovery of additional drugs, including cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, and oxycodone pills. Detectives also seized five firearms and over 1,800 rounds of ammunition.
Palmer is currently being held without bond at the Hernando County Detention Center.
