PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Pasco County Utilities has announced the completion of planned system improvements and restoration of water service to several Wesley Chapel and Land O’ Lakes neighborhoods. However, a precautionary boil water notice is now in effect for affected customers.

The overnight water outage, which began at 11:00 PM on January 6th and ended at 6:00 AM this morning, impacted residents and businesses in the following areas:

  • Grand Oaks
  • Stage Coach
  • Quail Hollow
  • Cobalt Apartment Homes
  • Volanti Townhomes
  • Edgewater at Grand Oaks
  • Enclave Subdivision
  • Compark 75 Industrial/Business Park – Pet Lane
  • Residential and commercial customers on Wesley Chapel Blvd

While water service has been restored, residents are advised to boil all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, and washing dishes. A rolling boil for one minute is sufficient. Alternatively, bottled water can be used.

This precautionary measure is necessary due to the potential for bacterial contamination during the system maintenance. Pasco County Utilities has submitted water samples for testing, and the boil water notice will remain in effect until the results confirm the water is safe for consumption.

Residents can stay updated on the situation by contacting Pasco County Utilities at (727) 847-8131 or by checking for updates on their website.
