TAMPA, Fla. – Drivers in Tampa can expect delays on East 131st Avenue due to a water main break that has necessitated a lane closure.
Starting at 9:00 AM today, December 27th, the eastbound lane of East 131st Avenue will be closed between North 23rd Street and Leisurewood Place. The closure will be in effect daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but the lane will remain open during the weekend.

The Tampa Water Department is working to repair the water main break and expects to complete the work by 4:00 PM on Thursday, January 2nd. However, they may need to return at a later date for additional repairs, in which case an update will be provided.
Barricades and flaggers will be present to direct traffic flow and ensure safety in the area. Drivers are urged to exercise caution and anticipate potential delays when traveling through this section of East 131st Avenue.
