TAMPA, Fla. – A water main break has forced the full closure of North 22nd Street between East Fern Street and East Lambright Street, causing traffic disruptions for commuters in the area.

The closure began at 11:00 AM today, January 21st, as crews from the Tampa Water Department work to repair the broken main. Barricades and signs have been placed to redirect traffic, and drivers are urged to exercise caution in the area.

The closure is expected to remain in effect until 5:00 PM on Friday, January 24th. However, work schedules may be modified depending on weather conditions.

The closure of North 22nd Street is likely to cause delays and congestion in the surrounding area, particularly during peak travel times. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes if possible.

The Tampa Water Department will provide updates on the repair progress and any changes to the closure schedule.
