DOVER, Fla. – Less than 24 hours after a brutal double homicide in Dover, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Angel Gabriel Cuz-Choc.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office previously issued a warrant for the suspect for his involvement in a brutal double homicide.
He was wanted for the following charges:
- Murder in the First Degree with a Weapon x2
“We do believe that Cuz-Choc is still in the area, and we are asking residents in the area if they see something out of the ordinary, like unlocked cars or open windows, please reach out to investigators at 813-247-8200,” said HCSO said earlier Thursday.

On Wednesday, at 5:25 p.m., the Communications Center received a call from a neighbor regarding a deceased female on the property.
Once on scene, deputies discovered a deceased female outside a mobile home with severe blunt-force trauma.
When deputies entered the house, they found a young child who was also deceased with severe blunt-force trauma.
“This heinous crime has left a community in shock and a family devastated,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “We are using every available resource and checking every tip that comes in to find this murderer who violently ended the life of the mother and young child.”
