CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. – The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) has obtained a warrant for the arrest of a suspect in connection with the firearm incident that occurred near the Citrus County Fairgrounds on Friday, March 28th.

“Our Criminal Investigations Division worked tirelessly to identify a suspect in this case and, despite having very little initial information, has obtained a warrant in less than 24 hours,” said Sheriff Vincent. “This suspect has a history of reckless behavior involving firearms, and I hope that with the community’s help, we can apprehend him quickly. Great job by our Detectives!”

The warrant follows an incident where Orr allegedly fired a handgun several times near the Citrus County Fair parking lot. Fortunately, the incident resulted in no injuries or property damage. Detectives conducted an intensive investigation, gathering witness accounts and other crucial information to obtain the warrant.

Orr is to be charged with one count of discharging a firearm in public and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
