Authorities in Oregon and Washington are investigating a series of fires in ballot drop boxes and believe a Volvo captured on surveillance footage may be involved.

Surveillance images from the Portland incident show a Volvo stopping at the drop box shortly before the fire was discovered. Investigators believe this vehicle may be connected to the fires, as well as a similar incident on October 8th where an incendiary device was found at a different ballot drop box in Vancouver.
Authorities are analyzing material recovered from the incendiary devices to confirm the connection between the fires. They are urging anyone with information about the suspect vehicle or the incidents to come forward.
