The incident occurred on February 17, 2025, when Warren City Police Officers responded to a convenience store where the two women and others were found asleep in a parked vehicle. The vehicle’s registration plate did not match the vehicle, and the registered owner was not present.
During questioning at the police station, facilitated by a Spanish translator, officers discovered that the women possessed fraudulent documents. A database query revealed that the permanent resident card belonging to Briceno Rodriguez was linked to a Chinese national, and the card belonging to Perez Rodriguez was linked to a Cuban national.
