The victims were found dead in their Washington, Utah, home last week, sparking a nationwide manhunt for Mia, who was later apprehended in Arizona.

Detectives report that she showed no signs of remorse throughout the interrogation, providing a detailed account of the events leading to her parent’s death.

While the official cause of death remains pending, police sources have revealed that Rick and Emily Bailey were found with multiple stab wounds. Investigators believe the killings were premeditated, citing a diary entry allegedly authored by Mia that outlined her plan.

The news has devastated the close-knit community of Washington, where the Baileys were well-known and respected. Friends and neighbors described them as loving parents who were deeply involved in the community.
