US Marshals: Tennessee Murder Suspect Apprehended In Arkansas

A Tennessee man wanted for murder was captured in Arkansas, by the U.S. Marshals Service. Styrone Walker, 36, was arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of Angelica Taylor earlier this month.

On January 2nd, 2025, Memphis police discovered Taylor’s body in a southwest Memphis motel. Their investigation led to an arrest warrant being issued for Walker on January 16th. The U.S. Marshals Service Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force (TRVFTF) then took over the search for the fugitive.

The TRVFTF tracked Walker to a residence in the 2000 block of Jackson Heights Cove in West Memphis, Arkansas. On the morning of January 24th, with assistance from the West Memphis Police Department, they apprehended Walker without incident.

He is currently being held at the Crittenden County Jail, awaiting extradition back to Tennessee.

The U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force is a multi-agency team operating in Western Tennessee, with offices in Memphis and Jackson.

Comprised of Deputy U.S. Marshals, local sheriff’s deputies, police officers, and state agents, the TRVFTF has been instrumental in capturing numerous violent offenders and sexual predators.

Since 2021, they have apprehended approximately 3,000 individuals.
