MANATTEE COUNTY, Fla. – A Coast Guard crew from Station Cortez came to the aid of four boaters on Saturday after their 19-foot vessel became disabled approximately 20 miles off Anna Maria Island.

The crew successfully rescued all four individuals and transported them to Station Cortez. No injuries were reported.

The owner of the disabled boat is currently making arrangements for its recovery.
