U.S. Central Command forces successfully intercepted and destroyed an Iranian-backed Houthi drone over the Red Sea on September 19th.

The drone, launched from Houthi-controlled territory in Yemen, posed a direct threat to American and allied forces, as well as commercial shipping in the region.
