Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping are racing to create a new class of hypersonic missiles – rockets that fly so far and fast that U.S. missile defense systems could not spot or stop them in time to prevent a major attack.
And what is the U.S. Air Force concerned about?
Satisfying the LGBTQ+ lobby.
On Friday, Blake Masters, chief operating officer of Thiel Capital and a U.S. Senate candidate in Arizona, tweeted what he said were new Air Force logos, as sent to him by a friend in the service.
One seemed to be the image of a B-52 bomber bearing elements of the 11-color “progress flag,” which combines the traditional rainbow style of the LGBT flag with the five-color flag that signifies transgenders, marginalized minority communities, and people living with AIDS.
The other was a group of multi-hued silhouettes saluting, with a fighter jet in the background.
Each logo championed “diversity,” “equity,” and “inclusion.”
Masters said his friend, and his fellow airmen, are supposed to vote on which logo the Air Force will use.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, Fox News reported that the Air Force has “authorized the use of gender pronouns in electronic signature boxes for communications within the department.”
“The use of pronouns (he/him, she/her, or they/them) in an email signature block is authorized but not required,” an Air Force memo quoted by Fox News noted.
“Know yourself and you will win all battles,” the Chinese military philosopher Sun Tzu once wrote.
Our enemies know themselves. But it seems the United States – with women in combat, the Pentagon hunting conservative troops in an effort to throw them out while telling minorites what a terrible country America is, and championing gay pride symbolism – is losing its grip on its mission.
