A shocking homicide investigation is underway in Key Largo after authorities say a man killed a woman in a resort hotel room, hid her body in a closet, and checked out – leaving the gruesome secret undiscovered even as another guest later occupied the room.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the grim series of events began last weekend at the Amoray Dive Resort. Dylan Lamb, a 33-year-old kayak tour guide, allegedly met 43-year-old Nadyne Marie Tillman at the resort last Saturday morning after reportedly contacting her through an escort website.

An arrest affidavit states Lamb told deputies he paid Tillman $200 for sexual services. He claimed an altercation occurred when Tillman tried to leave, alleging he struck her once after she hit him, causing her to fall unconscious.
Finding Tillman unresponsive and without a pulse, Lamb told investigators he panicked. He allegedly cleaned the room, hid Tillman’s body in a closet space near the water heater, and packed soiled linens, towels, and Tillman’s belongings into trash bags before checking out of the room Sunday morning and moving to a different one.
Family members reported Tillman missing after not hearing from her since Saturday, which they described as highly unusual. Police were called to the resort, and investigators eventually searched Lamb’s initial room, discovering Tillman’s body. Deputies noted her injuries, including two black eyes and facial lacerations, appeared inconsistent with Lamb’s claim of a single blow.

In a bizarre twist, housekeeping staff allegedly found the bags of heavily bloodstained linens after Lamb vacated the room but discarded them without immediately notifying police.
Before Tillman’s body was discovered in the closet, a different, unsuspecting guest reportedly checked into and stayed in the same room, unaware of the corpse concealed within.
Dylan Lamb was arrested Tuesday and faces multiple serious charges, including homicide, kidnapping-false imprisonment, evidence destroying, and procuring for prostitution.
“I want to thank the men and women of the Sheriff’s Office for working around the clock to make an arrest in this case,” said Monroe County Sheriff Rick Ramsay in a statement, adding that the investigation is ongoing but no other individuals appear to be involved.
Tillman was reportedly a mother to several children. Lamb is being held in custody.
