So far, we may not know with absolute certainty how the COIVD-19 coronavirus originated, if it had some scientific purpose and if so what it was, and how it leached out into the general global population.
But we do know precisely where the pandemic started.
The same might not be said of students at the University of Minnesota’s School of Public Health.
The College Fix reported last week that the school removed from its website references to China as COVID’s point of origin.
The Fix indicates that the issue started when the college’s “bias response and referral network” asked students for examples of “bias” regarding the virus.
Based on public records it received from the college, The College Fix noted that the bias watchers learned that a “student reported that an article by the School of Public Health’s [Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy, or CIDRAP] website used language that suggested that COVID-19 started in China and questioned if this was biased language.” The team added, “Responded to the reporter and shared that their email was forwarded to CIDRAP so they can address the matter.”
That was in November.
The College Fix pointed out that eight months earlier, as of March 5, 2020, the school’s website said, “CIDRAP is tracking and analyzing the rapidly evolving worldwide outbreak of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) disease that originated in China.”
Today, however, the same website says, “CIDRAP is tracking and analyzing the rapidly evolving novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.”
When asked for a comment, Tina Mirasam, the director of the Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action office, replied, “I do not have further information to share about these matters.”
Of course not.
