A United Airlines flight en route from Miami International Airport (MIA) to Newark, New Jersey, was forced to make an emergency landing in Orlando, Florida, on Tuesday, July 10, after a passenger became disruptive and bit a flight attendant.
The incident occurred on United Flight 762 shortly after takeoff. According to witnesses, the female passenger became aggressive and started yelling profanities at other passengers. Flight attendants attempted to de-escalate the situation, but the woman continued her outburst, eventually biting a flight attendant on the shoulder.

The pilot decided to divert the flight to Orlando International Airport, where law enforcement officers met the plane upon arrival. The disruptive passenger was escorted off the aircraft and taken to a hospital for evaluation.
The remaining passengers were delayed for several hours before continuing their journey to Newark. United Airlines issued a statement commending the flight crew for their professionalism in handling the situation and ensuring the safety of all passengers on board.
This incident is the latest in a series of disruptive passenger behavior incidents that have plagued airlines in recent years.
