In a significant escalation of the conflict, Ukraine launched its largest drone attack on Moscow yet, causing widespread disruption and claiming at least one life.

Over 20 drones targeted the Russian capital, resulting in the temporary closure of three major airports and the diversion of nearly 50 flights.

Russia retaliated by launching its own drone offensive on Ukraine, but claimed to have destroyed most of the incoming threats. The attacks caused damage to high-rise apartments and sparked fires in the Moscow region, leaving residents shaken.
