The U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force apprehended Parrish Transou, 44, of Jackson, TN, in Memphis on August 26, 2024. Transou was wanted on several serious charges in Shelby and Madison County, Tennessee.
Transou was taken into custody at a Memphis residence around 9 a.m. and booked into the Shelby County jail.
He faces charges of criminal attempt first-degree murder and aggravated assault in Shelby County. Additionally, he is wanted in Madison County for petition to revoke suspended sentence, failure to report back to court after a positive drug screen, theft of property, and 11 counts of forgery.

The successful capture of Transou was a result of the collaborative efforts of the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force, a multi-agency team comprised of various law enforcement agencies in Western Tennessee.
The task force has been instrumental in apprehending over 2,600 violent fugitives and sexual predators since 2021.
