U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has issued a stern warning to the individual responsible for leaking an internal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) memo that revealed plans for a large-scale raid targeting undocumented immigrants in Los Angeles.

The leaked document, obtained by the Los Angeles Times, outlined a coordinated operation involving ICE, the FBI, and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), reportedly set to take place before the end of the month.

During a Fox News interview, Bondi emphasized that her office would not tolerate actions that compromise law enforcement operations.

“If anyone leaks anything, people don’t understand that it jeopardizes the lives of our great men and women in law enforcement,” Bondi stated. “If you leaked it, we will find out who you are, and we will come after you. It’s not going to stop our mission. It’s not going to stop the president’s mission to make America safe again.”

The leaked memo has raised concerns about the potential impact on the planned operation, as well as the safety of law enforcement personnel involved.

The Los Angeles Times reported that the raid was intended to be one of the largest of its kind, targeting individuals with criminal records or those who have violated immigration laws.

This incident follows another recent leak that disrupted a planned raid targeting the Tren de Aragua gang, a transnational criminal organization. Border Czar Tom Homan, who oversees immigration enforcement efforts, expressed frustration over the earlier leak, calling it a deliberate attempt to obstruct law enforcement.

“Leaks like this are not just irresponsible—they are dangerous,” Homan said. “They put our officers at risk and allow criminals to evade justice.”

The Trump administration has made immigration enforcement a central focus of its policy agenda, with an emphasis on deporting individuals who pose a threat to public safety or have violated immigration laws. However, leaks of sensitive operational details have repeatedly complicated these efforts, prompting calls for stricter internal controls and accountability.

Bondi’s office has not provided specifics on how it plans to identify the leaker or what penalties they might face. However, her strong rhetoric underscores the administration’s determination to prevent future breaches and ensure the success of its enforcement operations.
