ZEPHYRHILLS, FL. – Two Zephyrhills women were killed in a crash that happened around 2:00 Saturday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
According to troopers, the women were traveling southbound on Crystal Springs Road, south of Douglas Road, when the driver lost control of the car for unknown reasons.
The vehicle departed the roadway, entered the east shoulder, and collided with a tree.
The crash resulted in fatal injuries to both occupants of the vehicle, two women from Zephryhills ages 25 and 27.
