“Bicycle theft might be considered a small crime to some, but we take it very seriously here at the PCSO. Many bikes that have been stolen often belong to children, or elderly folks who use them to get around, or people who may not have the means to own a vehicle and rely on their bicycles to get them to and from work,” said PCSO.

In this case, Sharon was actually riding one bicycle while towing the stolen one when he was apprehended.

Due to his prior theft convictions, this misdemeanor offense was enhanced to a felony charge. He was booked into the Polk County Jail.
