$5,000 Reward In Murder Of Demario Thomas, St. Pete Shooting Overnight

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Two people were shot and one has died, in a shooting that took place around 11:36 pm Sunday. Police are now offering a reward for the person(s) responsible for this death.

According to police, officers responded to a shooting where two people were injured at 13th Ave. S. and 13th St. S.

Police say the two victims were with a few other people talking outside, by the street in the 1300 block of 13th Avenue South. Shortly after 11:30 p.m., someone fired at the group from behind a house across the street.

28-year-old Demario Q. Thomas died from injuries sustained in the shooting.

The second victim, a 25-year-old woman, is in stable condition.
