Two Jacksonville Men Killed In Fiery Pasco County Crash

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Two Jacksonville men were killed, and two others were seriously injured, in a fiery crash on Little Road in Pasco County Wednesday evening.

The crash occurred around 7:00 PM at the intersection of Little Road and San Miguel Drive. A Dodge Ram pickup truck, driven by a 27-year-old Port Richey man, was traveling southbound on Little Road at a high rate of speed. A Toyota 4Runner, with three occupants from Jacksonville, was traveling northbound on Little Road.

As the Toyota 4Runner attempted to turn left onto San Miguel Drive, it crossed into the path of the oncoming pickup truck. The two vehicles collided, causing the 4Runner to overturn and catch fire.

The driver of the pickup truck and a 20-year-old passenger in the 4Runner were both transported to area hospitals with serious injuries. The driver and another passenger of the 4Runner were pronounced dead at the scene.

The deceased have been identified as two Jacksonville men, ages 25 and 39. The 20-year-old passenger remains hospitalized.
