TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Police are investigating a shooting that left two people injured Wednesday afternoon in the 8100 block of N. 13th St. The incident occurred just after 4:00 PM, sending an adult Black male and a Black male in his late teens to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Preliminary reports indicate that the two victims were engaged in an exchange of gunfire with individuals inside a newer model, dark-colored vehicle. The vehicle fled the scene immediately after the shooting.

Detectives are actively working the case and are currently gathering evidence to determine the full circumstances of the incident and identify those involved. The investigation is in its early stages.
