Two Injured In Early Morning Boating Incident in Clearwater Pass

CLEARWATER, Fla. – Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to a boating incident in Clearwater Pass early Sunday morning. The incident occurred at approximately 5:00 a.m. just west of the Opal Sands resort.

According to authorities, two individuals involved in the incident sustained injuries that are believed to be non-life-threatening. They were transported to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital for treatment.

Other individuals who were on board the vessel at the time of the incident did not report any injuries.
